About / Corridor Numerics

A place for the work
between disciplines.

An independent research and engineering project by Mostafa Nasr, based in Giza, Egypt.

Start with a question.
Follow it into a tool.

Corridor Numerics brings together computational research, mechanical design, electronics and software. The current focus is a first aperture bench and the tools needed to prepare, run and document experiments.

The direction is toward custom research, prototyping and engineering work. For now, this site is a working record: what exists, what is being built and what remains to be checked.

Models

Know the assumptions.

A useful model has a clear domain. Its numerical results and its physical implications should remain distinguishable.

Interfaces

Make the parts meet.

Geometry, mechanisms, sensors and software need shared references and practical assembly decisions.

Records

Leave a path back.

Keep versions, plans and observations inspectable, so the next iteration can respond to evidence.
